We started out warm. We got bold. We went outside. Bad idea, but we survived to tell the story 🙂
The fireplace was all decked out with care, and made a great cozy spot for a family get-together.
He’s not a smiler-for-the-camera I was told. Well, you just have to catch him in his natural habitat with the people he loves.
The son may think he owns the place, but we all know it’s the dog who runs the show. After a while, we decided to throw caution to the wind and head out to a park close by. It was only late November, but that wind already made it feel like -1009. Heroically the family stood together for about 3 seconds while I got some shots with the seemingly ineffective (but beautiful) setting sun.
Oops, that pic was supposed to be an outtake.
Shortly after this image we made a desperate dash for our vehicles, and headed our separate ways. I was eventually able to feel my fingers again 🙂
