What an honour and privilege it has been to be part of Mike & Christelle’s special day. They have been so fun to work and prepare with over the last several months. Finally, May 4th arrived and I caught up with the girls at Snips ‘N Shears Hair Design (15-30 Island Shore Blvd, Winnipeg).
Next stop was the Lancome booth at Sears St. Vital Mall for makeup, where the bride commented that she tried Lancome makeup once and has used it ever since.
Next I visited the guys who were getting ready.
After that it was time to go to the bride’s parents’ place, where the girls finished getting ready. I had them do this in front of the gorgeous light coming in the living room windows.
The “I Do’s” took place at Crossroads MB Church in the St. Boniface area of Winnipeg.
I whisked away the wedding party to the beautiful Manitoba Hydro Place building on Portage Ave.
When we got to the reception area at Evergreen Village close to Niverville, I was happy to see that all the snow was gone and the grounds were pretty dry, so I spent some more time with the wedding party and couple.
The reception began and the food (what little I was able to eat quickly) was great! I created a same-day slideshow so everyone could see the story of this wonderful day unfold.
Finally there was the first dance for the new couple, the bride’s dance with her father, followed by dancing for everyone.
Some important thank yous:
